El Economist piensa que Zapatero pudiera rentabilizar la paz en el País Vasco
El Economist, que continúa siendo el semanario financiero más influyente del mundo, estima que “podemos estar asistiendo al fin de 40 años de terrorismo separatista vasco”.

El Economist hace un análisis informativo del inicio del “proceso negociador”, y concluye afirmando que, a su modo de ver, “si llega la paz, Zapatero pudiera recibir una recompensa política”. A la oposición, concluye, le gustaría volver al poder, pero, para conseguirlo, sentencia el Economist, debiera sacar las consecuencias y lecciones de la paz.
